What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a medical treatment that uses tiny needles to puncture the skin.

It is used to diminish:

  • Acne scars

  • Dark spots

  • Large pores

  • Melasma

  • Sagging skin

  • Scars due to surgery or an injury

  • Stretch marks

  • Uneven skin texture and tone

  • Wrinkles and fine lines

Microneedling is minimally invasive and safe for all skin tones. It works by stimulating your body to make collagen. This is why it’s also called “collagen induction therapy.”

When properly performed, your body responds by healing the holes in your skin with just the right amount of collagen. This can lead to less noticeable scars and wrinkles, and more even skin tone and texture.

Microneedling can improve your skin's firmness and elasticity due to its collagen and elastin-stimulating properties. Think of these essential proteins as your skin's scaffolding, plumping it up from within. The treatment results in a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

Minimised Pores

Microneedling also strengthens the skin around the pores, providing greater support and making them seem smaller and less noticeable. Additionally, it helps regulate oil production and uneven texture, both of which affect the appearance of pores.

With less oil buildup and dead skin cells, the pores are less clogged and do not appear too obvious. Take note, Microneedling won’t erase pores completely, but with multiple sessions, favourable results can be achieved,

Several treatments may be required for optimum results.

The treatment can be performed with a Dermatologist Roller Or Derma Pen
